Converting a piazza into a garden for one of the most avant-garde landscaping events (Arketipos 2019 – Maestri di Paesaggio) is definitely not easy, especially when the person asking is the editor-in-chief of the best Italian gardening magazine: Gardenia. Nevertheless, we did it, thanks to the lush plants of Vivai Faro combined with unfindable treats of the Cascina Bollate nursery, selected with the help of volcanic Susanna Magistretti that had the perennials combinations prepared just for this display. It is not easy to be able to rely on wonderful budding Hibiscus coccineus, even less so on the impressive dry Dipsacus inflorescences. Thanks also to Il Giardino di Corten, for supplying made to measure stringcourses that went into making the geometrical structures inspired by C. T. Sørensen’s famed musical garden. Then, the whole setup would have been even more challenging without the help of di Katya Valentini. But the hardest work of all was that of Guido Mascheretti and his team of gardeners, that certainly kept up with our expectations. Lights were supplied by Creative Cables, and furniture by Ethimo: thank you, thank you, thank you.
